I've been using the alpha version for Custom Scan for some time, mostly to very good effect. I appreciate it's an alpha, so the following are just comments, not complaints!
- when a 'look for changes' scan finishes, the custom scan page says it is still scanning and never stops until LMS is restarted - doing just a ratings scan on its own, having adjusted some static ratings in my flacs, seems to do nothing - I have to do a full rescan - is this as expected? The alpha scan mostly seems to work well, particularly when I have changed a track's tags and just played it.
