I imagine that the tighter integration with LMS means you cannot move features, such as the custom scan info in the main rescan reports, into the previous design. So no, I don't think there's anything specific that could be moved.
Since I moved to the alpha version I've also moved platform (to a Vortexbox appliance), so comparisons (of speed and interference with playing) between custom scan versions are not possible. I have noticed that LMS now doesn't let me play music even via a music folder when a rescan is in progress, which I find a little irritating. I used to use that facility when a custom scan was running.
