No.

Really low, less than 5%

I tried both these alternatives.

1. softsqueeze started and I could see it amongst the players and also
stream a local file to it (although no sound was produced). I tried
streaming Spotify to it, but it didn't even start the song.

2. squeezeplay just produced mangled characters all over a portion of
the screen and echoing in the terminal stuff like

20120429 14:58:00.206 WARN squeezeplay.ui.draw - _load_image:207 Error
loading tile image
/home/rockyraccoon/squeezeplay/share/jive/applets/WQVGAsmallSkin/images/Buttons/button_titlebar_b.png:
Unsupported image format

and it did not show up in the player selection in the web UI for lms.

I don't know if it helps, but I have iPeng and I used its playback
function and streamed Spotify to an iPhone. It was approximately the
same with that device, but it skipped more frequently and for shorter
periods of time.

More info:

I have had this plugin working since the early days it was announced, so
this problem has started lately.

I checked the bitrate to the receiver with Spotify and it was close to
1Mbps for that also.

Should I continue trying with softsqueeze?
