For me, surfing the internet draws more power than browsing your library in iPeng, at least if you visit a similar number of pages. I was just saying that usually when using iPeng you are visiting a lot of pages and scrolling a lot and that draws power. But if you do the same thing in Safari (similar amount of scrolling, similar number of pages visited) Safari should draw even more power.
For me, when only using iPeng, even if I use it a lot, my battery lasts for several days. I even usually leave the screen on and in that mode I drains like 8% battery per hour which is pretty much in line with Apples claim of 10h of battery life "with normal use". So iPeng should not draw excessive power. If that's not what you are seeing I wonder whether your server might be perpetually scanning or something else that causes iPeng to permanently refresh it's library. Could you check how much power it draws when you do nothing, but leave iPeng in the foreground (screen on)? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
