I'm just playing with it so thought I'd put it out there to see what people think. The pivotviewer style interface is already established in the tech world, I just thought I'd try applying it to a music album collection as a technical challenge - it may not stay part of muso. http://www.visualisingdata.com/index.php/2010/07/microsofts-pivotviewer-data-visualisation-tool/ http://netflixpivot.cloudapp.net/ The pivotviewer interface is really a data analysis tool, used for visualising patterns in your data and helping to quickly navigate around a huge collection via "facets" of the data (album attributes in muso terminology). I'll probably put a standard windows border on it for the next build so you can minimise it, easily switch back to the main muso window, etc - so this can still act as your Now Playing window. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
