Hi, I run a Squeezebox Touch with a Mac Mini media server running Logitec Media Server 7.72 . I have recently returned to Napster after a few months using Deezer as my music streaming provider. I have used iPeng on an iPhone for some time now as my prefered way of selecting music and controlling the Squeezebox remotely. However, Napster now seems unuseably slow to search or display album and track lists when using iPeng. Often it times out without getting the search results. Once I select a track it plays without problem.
I have tried performing searches on Napster via the Squeezebox's own screen and using the Logitec iPhone Remote App. Both these return the search results very quickly. I had no problems searching Deezer with iPeng and my previous experience of Napster (prior to the Rhapsody takeover) was also fine. I'm in the UK if that is relevant and I have reasonable broadband speed. Is this a problem affecting others? Is there a different app I should be using?
