Agree. I do some similar backup approaches. And I often remind people that a good backup regime also requires having complete copies at a different location, with at least some of these copies "not connected" to power, etc. (i.e., just stored....we have lots of electrical storms where I live that can take out all one's electronics in spite of high quality surge protectors, etc.). A good backup doesn't help when your house burns down, is flooded, theft, etc. I have about 70,000 mostly FLAC files (and I'm halfway through reripping my CDs to FLAC). I have 8 different complete backups, stored at 3 different physical locations. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96124 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
