Juggler has done a test which does not involve WaveInput, just copying data (using ecasouns) from the pipe into a file and the file is blank.
This means. 1. LMS and the plugin are not the problem so there is no need at this stage to run tests involving LMS. 2. If the pipe was not sending data into the pipe then ecasound could not read from the pipe. The ecasound log indicates it is reading data from the, so it means shairplay is writing "silence" into the pipe.
