You're kind to remember a GUI proposal on my part, it's probably better forgotten. One thing is sure: the plugin's GUI *is* very clean, and quite well documented. I don't think the GUI was as good when I proposed something. I believe the potential complexity for newcomers comes from the interactions between settings. A tabbed GUI is not a response to that. Perhaps something like usage profiles could help: i. standalone server vs. desktop computer, ii. use of Internet or not, iii. need for maintenance tasks or not, (and surely I forget something.) Logitech Bob? Maybe not. If brief enough, a few paragraphs or perhaps even video segments (nobody cares to read anymore) could serve as guides for people to start with sensible settings, given their user profile. To conclude, for me this is an exemplary plugin. I would like to see iPeng integrate with it, I would like to see it inspire Auto-dim display (I started using that, it is a bit inflexible I think). I regret Logi did not integrate with it via the OS-native dashboard applications. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521
