Sorry, I'm not sure about the exact time period; I set my SB to stream WaveInput and the stream dies (i.e. the player transitions to STOPPED state) some time later. "Some time" == more than 2 hours, probably less than 4. For S&G, I modified "-twav" to "-traw" in every arecord parameter list contained within custom-convert.conf. Restarted the server, verified that WaveInput streaming still worked and that the running process parameter had indeed changed. That one died too after a few hours, repeated the failure a couple of times to verify. Is there a simple way to modify the FLAC library in use by the plugin? I'm not sure exactly which it's using now, IIRC the process just shows up as "flac" .
