It seems the GNU/Linux system shipped by Synology on their DS207+ (working with a CPU Marvell Orion mv5281) is quite strange, as other developers as the one building SSODS (an independent package for Squeezebox Server on DiskStation) was forced to compile a specific ARM version for it (see http://oinkzwurgl.org/ssods_downloads in the "legacy versions" section): "for funny Marvell Orion/Kirkwood based systems where the arm release above doesnt work".
(I try the 3rd Party Spotify Plugin with SSODS with SqueezeBox Server 7.5.2 instead of official Synology Squeezbox Server, but I have the same behavior as the ones described before). In other words, I think nobody can use the 3rd Party Spotify Plugin on device DS-109, CS-407, RS-407, DS-107+ or DS-207+. However users can use the official Spotify plugin on some of theses devices, but if you have like me the winning combo unsupported DS207+ for 3rd Party Spotify Plugin AND an unsupported Squeezebox Boom by official plugin, you fail ... May be it's time for me to buy a new NAS ! :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ daboomspo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58629 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706
