You're right! I changed that in the Muso database and now it is as expected. I assume if I change the underlying tags and re-sync then that should work too. However, I don't understand the logic of it at all. I notice that using the composer in artist tags also creates problems (duplications). This is a shame as it is a very common feature of many classical music databases as a work-round for (inferior) software. Are there other obscure (to me at least) semantic rules of which I should be aware? I haven't worked through all the implications of this yet (bedtime in UK), but it seems that to get the composer to take priority I can't list the performing artist for the album as "album artist" - rather they have to be listed as artist on each track. Also, this could create some awkward restrictions and problems with other (player) software. However, I think that the SB touch is OK as it lists composer as well as artist on the "now playing" screen. I am attempting to re-tag all my albums and would prefer not to do the job over again! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MDE's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49291 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
