This should be fixed in 0.6.7

The search result panels are independent from one another on purpose
(unless you to a general search from the upper right search field), so
they will keep the last search result. If you double-click an album in
any panel, you'll get the tracks as the result of an search for this
panel. If you want to see all albums for the artist on the track,
double-click on a track in the result list, which will bring you to the
album search results (for this artists). Double-clicking on a album here
will again bring you to the tracks search result panel etc.

Probably a timeout issue. I've increased it by 10sec. Next version will
have such parameters configurable.

Used to happen in earlier versions when I handled lists loaded on-demand
differently. If it still happens, it's probably a bug in the underlying
framework. If you find a reproducible test case, I can have another look
at it.

Can't reproduce this - is your mouse cursor still on the scrollbar when
this happens, or is it over the track?

Well, several people complained about this. Not that easy to fix,
thought (see 'this post'
for details). Newer versions are slightly better.

Not quite sure where the back button should take you, since usually
there is a number of starting points

In which lists? Why not just extend the column?

What should this do? There already is a "Play" and a "Next" button.

The main purpose of the slider is to show information (which track of
how many is played). Since it's already there, I added the control
function.

Seems like I'm not "most people". You can already change the sort order
and it will be remembered for the next search.
I'll add some/all of this to the preferences as soon as they are
available

Movement is switched off in 0.6.7.
Since 0.6.6: Right-clicking on the cover of a track in the current
playlist displays a menu listing all images (jpg, png) located in the
same directory as the track. This is meant for showing booklets, band
photographs etc.

Can't change anything about that, it's a build-in function of the GUI
framework used.

Probably, but I don't quite see the point

Not quite sure what you mean by that - the "All Artists" panel should
already include all artists, as should the albums by artist.

When moving tracks within the list fully works (v0.6.7 has a limited
version), I'll have another look at this.

Thanks for the extensive feedback.
