My hunch is the router could be responsible as I think this only started
happening after I got FIOS and they required me to install their router
... I can hang another router off theirs, but that's a PITA.

Rebooting it seems to have no impact on this issue, but does resolve
other issues that seem to build up rather quickly.  It would appear to
have a small buffer for some kind of connections that gets filled up and
then it starts having issues.

I'll send the mail ... does diagnostics data get sent automatically?
