I think ipeng just uses the info that LMS provides it about players that are connected to LMS. based on your description it seems that ipeng is having trouble connecting to the server. That's the likely issue (not the players). But not sure what's causing this. Have you "stopped" ipeng on the iphone (double press on home button, then long press/X on the ipeng icon) then reloaded it?
