Sorry, I've not got the same router as you but I have recently created a VPN on my ASUS router and shut down my previous port forwarding. Do you have a static IP address from your ISP provider? You'll need that or a DDNS provider to provide you with a static address - it then it should be fairly straightforward. On my ithingy I then set up a PPTP VPN and the DDNS address (or static IP) is the server name. Initialising the VPN simply prompts for the password you set on your router and that's it - once entered you then connect as if you were at home. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ HeadBanger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38024 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
