I think I must share this
I've managed to defeat this "400 Bad request" thing. Installing
IO::Socket::SSL via CPAN did not help, because squeezeserver looked for
it in some different place, and after a lot of mucking around this
helped:

Perl is a total witchcraft to me and I've no idea why cpan packages are
ignored, but dashboard, favourites etc. now work.
