Signal quality and connection quality are two completely different things, unfortunately. One of my routers, for example, has a very spotty connection that leads to a lot of reconnects; lossless streaming or video are impossible. And that's completely independent of the signal strength, it even happens only a few feet away from the router. The reason I ask is that the current iPeng has a bug that can pile up connection handlers which can slow things down a bit although 1-2s surprises me (actually _all_ iPeng versions had this issue, but only iPeng 7 seems to cause problems due to it). I'll submit a fix in a few days but I want to be sure I'm fixing the right thing... --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and *New: Logitech UE Smart Radio* as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
