While it would be nice to get the discography in the same detail as on the site (which really seems not to be possible with the public API), using the GET /artists/<id>/releases API call gives usable results. Here's a screenshot from my plugin's discogs integration:
I tested this before, but I must be doing something wrong getting the artist's ID. Just tried it again with the first random artist I picked: Adele. Discogs would return no less than 10 artists with this exact name (plus a number added). And sure enough the first item returned is not what we'd expect. How do you solve this?
