Fine but it seems it actually downloaded all pictures again ?? even if have a full of artist pictures in my folder or did it just take 7,5 minute to check them ?
The artist picture download is rather different from cover art, which causes this big difference: for cover art we do have a column in the table, telling LMS whether artwork is available or not. We don't have this option for artist pictures. Therefore the full list of artists is processed each time you run a scan. If you have a local folder with artist pictures, this should speed up things considerably, as the scanner will check this first, before going online.
but modified time are at this scan so the are accessed and written to ?
That's not expected though. Were these pictures downloaded with a previous version?

The number should be lower than last time, as the last scan added new artwork to your folder. As artwork is added to this folder, the main scanner will already pick it up on a subsequent run (this feature has always been there, .jpg only). Therefore once the scanner reaches the plugin's importer, those covers are already in place, and the album's record would be flagged.
Pre caching went fine , the numbers must be i have not added 185 pics or does this include all sizes it does of each pic ?
Hmm... I never paid much attention to this stage. I'll have to see how the pre-caching does its calculations. Maybe it's per track: one album with ten tracks would result in 10 items to process.
