Hi, I have installed Local Player plugin on Ubuntu 13.1 system with LMS 7.7.3 on the same system.
I have a problem in that when LocalPlayer is running even with nothing playing, then no other audio application will work, Checking the sound settings the Output devices are no longer displayed. Stopping LMS or deactivating the Local player plugin- restores the normal sound output devices. Is there something wrong here or is this expected behaviour?? I am suspicious that it has something to do with the fact that LMS runs under a different users name ie Squeezeboxserver --- uid=116(squeezeboxserver) gid=65534(nogroup) groups=65534(nogroup),29(audio) Any clues?
