I think you may need to run squeezelite stand alone for this at present - you should select the output device based on the output device number from the squeezelite -l list and then use it with the -o parameter. At present with local player I think you will get the first match on the list as it uses the name of the device excluding the audio api - this is likely to select MME rather than WASAPI or WDM-KS due to the ordering within the portaudio library.
