I played with Pause some more, it works properly when I put the iPod in an old Apple dock (A1256), it also works properly with the iPod just plugged into a charger, so it looks like the Logitech spkrs are doing something odd, as you said. I guess the point is moot anyway as I'm sure I'll go to iPeng 7, just gotta get over my iOS 7 GUI phobia. Just to start your week off with a jolt, I've attached an iPeng now playing screen with artwork down-prioritized to make room for some juicy big volume buttons.
