What I did was click the Smatmix options in WebUI,
(Settings->Advanced->Smartmix), then clicked the "Smart Mixing Recipe"
that I created previously (Unplugged) and then in blender [Play this
mix].
Works fine there (from blender), but if I click "Unplugged" from the a
SB player, nothing is loaded (if I pick a different recipe from the
player, it works)

I thought that you're "Most recently played (days)" option was active
even if I loaded the recipe from the blender. If that's not the case,
then the "don't play recently played tracks" option could be the cause
— I'll test it
