Sorry I've not responded to this earlier - I didn't get a notification of a reply and the problem hadn't reoccurred until today whe the power blipped again and my settings got reset again.
It seems the only settings that aren't getting saved are the iPlayer ones - all the standard LMS settings are retained properly. From what I can remember, the installation was done using *squeezeplug_rpi_707* and then iPlayer was added using the standard LMS webinterface to add a new plugin.
