Hi, I have been an iPeng user on ipad & iphone. Also bought the pre-7 version to be able to play on ipad/iphone itself. So now there is a new version with a new price tag. Interesting. I was wondering, given the latest developements in quantum physics and other advanced scientific areas, if some latest media playing software would be able to play the tracks of an album only once, if both the mp3 version (for transferring to mobile devices) and the flac version (for optimal playing at home) are present in my collection, preferably choosing the flac version when available. I would please ask to restrain from answers in the "you should not want that but in stead want this" area. Making seperate collections for example will not work because i do not have all my music both in a flac and mp3 version. As delphi programmer I even went so far as to write software to rename all my *.mp3 to *.mp8 if a *.flac is available, but this solution comes with all sorts of cumbersome side efects as you might imagine. Also I tried programming automatic playlists flac.m3u and mp3.m3u and picking them from browse by folder. The logitech media player interface is a real bummer when playlists are concerned alas and generally if you play music by browsing folders (in stead of albums or artists) leaves you with al sorts of problems due to the fact that your strange choice is hardly supported.
So if the new ipeng could somehow figure out that if I choose an album I do not want to hear every track twice in a row I would gladly play another sum for it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hans Heintz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41159 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
