I've finalized my 1st alpha version of this LMS to uPNP gateway. It is complete in a sense that it has the mandatory features, including a good config and log. It works very well with my Sonos system and okay with a Marantz NR1603. Still, I'm helped by PasTim who is having awful problems to make it work, so not really even ready for alpha ... I need to make that for for him
Anyway, my questions to the Guru of LMS, where 1- Is there a way to receive, through slimproto, the size and duration of a stream when the stream process starts ? It seems that the RESP header does not say anything, does it ? 2- The GET send by a player to LMS when the streaming process starts, after the negotiation on slimproto is for a URI like http://server:port/stream.mp3?player_id=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx where xx:xx is the mac address. Is there any chance that2 URI could accepted to point to the same stream ? (like stream-1 and stream-2).
