Hi, thank you for the good work gone into developing this system.

I purchased an Oroid specifically so I could use the Max2play software.
I’m a Linux noob and thought it would make things easy for me. It mostly
has, but I’m stuck on getting a USB drive to work with it.
So far, I flashed an SD card, installed the operating system, expanded,
updated etc. and downloaded 7.9 version of Squeezeserver. But I can’t
get the USB drive to work with LMS/Odroid. It’s a 1TB 2.5” USB drive,
connected directly with USB cable and powered from the Droid.

I tried using the Fix USB button on the web interface but it didn’t seem
to do anything, so I tried on the ‘Filesystem - mount network paths’
tab.

Mountpoint: * //192.168.0.7/*
Path: * /mnt/mountdir/*
Type: *cifs*
Options: *user=name,password=pass,sec=ntlm,iocharset=utf8*

I’ve probably got a number of things that need correcting, but please
could someone advise what I need to input here, or another better way to
connect a USB drive if possible?

• If the Odroid is on IP address 192.168.0.7, in the Mountpoint - do I
need anything after: //192.168.0.7/???
• Will /mnt/mountdir/ work as the path if I used the USB drive
previously on Squeezeplug on a Pi?
• What do I need to enter for the ‘Options’? is there a password that is
expected? Is it the one for Linux? For LMS? Other private?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks,
