SB Player is now officially available on the Fire TV Stick. There are basically two reasons that cause SB Player is automatically pause the playback: 1) SB Player receives a "Noisy Audio" event (I don't remember the exact name), which is what happens when you unplug headphones from the device. The Fire TV does not have headphones, but going to sleep may do something to the audio outputs that will trigger this event. 2) SB Player loses Audio Focus, which is usually what happens when another media app launches into the foreground and requests Audio Focus. The Fire TV may just rescind Audio Focus from all apps when it goes to sleep. Technically losing audio focus is just a notification to the app, it doesn't actually prevent audio from playing, but apps are strongly encouraged to handle the event correctly. If it is just the first case, then you can disable that behavior in Settings > General > Pause on headphones unplug.
