I have gone with Vortexbox due to its factory like processing ability. I
need to re-rip c. 1000 CDs maybe more.
I have however turned off the auto rescan on the Vortexbox so that I can
check and edit as necessary in mp3tag before LMS rescans overnight. I
shall also continue using EAC where and when necessary or appropriate.
I am also looking into installing Vortexbox on an old Mac mini which if
successful I shall run solely as a headless (?) ripper in my living
room. The main Vortexbox and LMS / QNAP sits in my office. If I can't
install Vortexbox on the Mac does anyone know of a good FLAC ripper for
the Mac - I have tried XLD but wasn't impressed with its apparent
inability to create an Artist/Album/Track structure - or am I missing
something?
