It is older Vista PC and my library lives on an external USB connected HD. So it will be slow... I left it alone and went to bed last night. This morning when I changed the drop down menu in Advanced from Custom Scan to Logging I noticed that the words Running... immediately disappeared. The logging selection for plugin.customscan was set at Warn, so I changed it to Debug. I clicked Apply and went back to Custom Scan on the dropdown menu and Rating Tag - and started Scan again. I do remember hearing the HD running yesterday after starting the scan as well so maybe it did fine. Probably should have tried out trackstat before restarting this scan to see if it had completed last night. Anyway I will let it scan again and will look at the log periodically.
