My system consists of a Netgear ReadyNAS104 running LMS 7.9.0 - 1414184068. Like many others, the BBC iPlayer worked perfectly until last week when the BBC broke it. I have tried to follow the instructions in this thread and the previous one without success.
I installed ffmpeg, ffmeg -version reports "ffmpeg version 2.3.5 Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the FFmpeg developers built on Nov 3 2014 10:52:01 with gcc 4.9 (Debian 4.9.0-7)". I also installed lame. I have installed PlayHLS (v1.1) and this is shown as being active. Under File Types, Apple HLS m3u8 shows FLAC - ffmpeg; MP3 - ffmpeg/lame; PCM - ffmpeg. I have replaced menu.opml with the new version, both the first version and also the updated one with the correct BBCWS information. Whenever I try to play a live BBC Station in the iPlayer app I get: "Problem: Can't open file for: BBC Radio x", (x being the staion concerned). LMS shows "0, hls" and 0:00 elapsed of 0:00. Everything has been rebooted a number of times. Can anybody see what I am doing wrong please? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul608085's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64080 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103158 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
