Forgive my ignorance but I have been running LMS/Ubuntu Server for years
on a 64 bit system and the only thing I installed (in addition to the
standard LMS) was the ia32-libs package.

Is there a need to install those other packages when I have had
absolutely no problems playing FLAC/mp3/m4a/mp4 (with ia32-libs
installed).
