I've had some weird issues getting the updated BBCXMLParser.pm file to work. I made the changes to the installations on my Windows 7 and QNAP machines, but the QNAP didn't work. I then copied the BBCXMLParser.pm file from the Windows 7 folder to the QNAP folder, and the QNAP installation then did work. I've got a 3rd installation in a Windows Home Server 2011 machine and it won't work, whether I modify the .pm file directly or copy it from the Windows 7 machine.
