I have a Cocktailaudio X10 set up in the kitchen which has most of our cds and the internet radio which will play the new live BBC HLS streams. The X10 can also act as a renderer or server and be controlled by Foobar 2000 and/or the CA WebGUI from any laptop or tablet including our PCs in the study where we have a conventional two channel HiFi into a digital input of which is connected the Airport Express. I couldn't get LMS to work at all without fooling it with a software player (as I have no hardware...) and tried various combinations of those out there before settling on Sqeezelite which allows the LMS to play the live and listen again streams that we know and love so well. I had some success in porting to the AE from Foobar and VLC playing the LMS stream.mp3 but it seemed to be very temperamental (sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't!). Using TuneBlade (or Airfoil) with Squeezelite appears for the moment at least to be more reliable.
