Woop woop, the alpha iplayer is working for me on Nas4free with fairly low power processor(1.3GHz dual Athlon) and only 1GB Ram on my home server, many thanks to triode, also to PasTim for explaining how to get the alpha update :D
BBC complaints got back to me with a pile of guff about them thinking it was 'all fine' now, I challenged them to come on here and state their plans for the future and stop wasting everyones time....I know I'm probably wasting my time, but it made me feel better.
