Philippe, I did connect the optical SPDIF output of the Roku to my external DAC. The display on my DAC shows PCM/48kHz regardless of what file I play or what sample rate setting I choose in your plugin. I think 48kHz is the 'magic number' for the Roku (maybe everything is upsampled internally). I will do these UPnP tools tests later this week to check the capabilities of the Roku. Offtopic: According to various internet forums the Roku has a Squeezebox 1 emulation mode. Because of a firmware mismatch it refused to work with LMS 7.9 (well it worked but no sound played). I did manage to update the firmware of the Roku to the latest SB1 version and now everything is playing fine. As LMS is aware of the SB1 limitations it will automatically transcode incompatible filetypes. No need for complex transcoding rules and no playback rate problems. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kolossos4730's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63988 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102496 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
