I'm not sure as to what (internal) settings squeezelte uses on the Pi. I use PicorePlayer on my Pi's which has a nice web interface. This allow me to select the used DAC from a dropdown list. No manual file format/sample rate/bit rate settings involved. The LMS web interface shows that no transcoding is done. I presume the unaltered FLAC is streamed to the Pi and squeezelite handles the decoding on the fly. Of course squeezelite needs to be aware of the DAC's capabilities (I think this is handled by querying ALSA). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kolossos4730's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63988 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102496 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
