Hi Stefan, So, I tried again today, being very careful with the old fat fingures and everything installed correctley and is playing well. Many,many,thanks. The tip about adding the correct file path was very useful, after a few false starts I was successful with -*insmod /root/snd-usb-hiface-3.18.11/snd-usb-hiface.ko*- There is a small fly in the ointment (ain't that always so). The Squeezelite restart does not work after a reboot, I have to do it manually since the last update.
