Thought you all might like to know that I've been able to have both
squeezelite and Kodi running simultaneously (although not playing media
at same time) and using the same single USB DAC by adding '-C 20' to the
squeezelite config options and setting Kodi's 'Keep Audio Device Alive'
to OFF. These options release the audio output when not in use and
free it for other applications. (Don't know what will happen if both are
playing at same time, I guess I should try.....)

This may not work for everyone but works great here. No need to have
Kodi shutdown before using squeezelite. I can have both Kodi and
squeezelite auto start on boot with no issues (so far).

I was previously doing this with OpenElec so thought it should be
possible with Max2Play too. Obviously Max2Play has the huge advantage
that I have LMS running on it - something that is very unlikely to ever
happen with OE.

On a side note - LMS runs really well on the Odroid U3 - a good bit
faster then my Raspberry Pi 2 - scanning my 65000 track library took
less than half the time (probably largely down to eMMC, but other
factors may well be an influence). And Kodi seems to run a bit
smoother.

Stephan/Flysurfer - you've done great job getting this all working so
well. I've purchased the premium support license!

One small request:- I've updated Kodi to your latest release. When it
starts up I get a warning about running Release Candidate 1. Any chance
of a upgrade to final version?

Many thanks
Richard
