The BBCiPlayer 1.4.x plugin is an update to the BBCiPlayer plugin adding support for the DASH format which BBC is moving. This is a test version so some bits may not work. There are no patches and will be no patches. No file should be edited. At the moment some of the menu items need to be updated (e.g. World service) and so are known to be "faulty". This will be fixed in a later release. If you decide to update any file such as menu.opml - I cannot help.
