Maybe I did not understand well then what happens for PaulinPausset - when he means "won't stop". About "shoutcast", I really mean the use of ICY metadata between sq2u and the UPnP renderer. Whether the audio source uses the ICY protocol or not does not matter. When sq2u detects a live webradio, it polls regularly LMS to detect a title/artist change. When a such change is seen, sq2u use ICY to communciate that change to the UPnP renderer (if it is allowed, of course). LMS can have collected the updated metadata by various means. NB : to confuse you more, when the source stream uses the ICY protocol, then metadata are *first* collected by sq2u itself (the squeezelite 'face') and *then* sent back to LMS for display and *then* download by sq2u (the UPnP 'face') to be sent to the UPnP player LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
