I just did a sanity check on my reports of using dev-3 on the M1 CLiC.
ICY-metdata is definitely off, as is artwork.

With BBC iplayer, latest version, receiving 320kbps aac, flc works, pcm
works (raw, no byte match, packed type 1), aac doesn't - it stalls after
30 seconds or so. I checked the logs for what was being streamed in
each case. It's no problem for me, since I've settled on sending flc
for almost everything.

I used to send pcm but it got flaky at 24/192 with occasional and
seemingly random cut-outs - I don't know why (I have another server that
works fine at this quality). I've guessed that it might be to do with
single-threading and other tasks (or network searches) interrupting
play, but it doesn't matter. flc will do fine. I don't intend to
experiment with this any more!

And philippe - special thanks for the option to disable feedback to LMS.
I have set it already, so there's no confusion in my mind that the LMS
volume control means anything at all when using UPnP.

LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to 405/2 amp &
ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay
(control point) to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to
Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 15.10
laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver. Have a Touch
with EDO, plus spare, but unused.
