I'm not sure I fulyl understand your question, but sq2c will obey to LMS rules and if no replay gain is set, then it won't do anything. On top of that, one limitation of sq2c is that it can do replay gain only if it receives pcm unecoded data (codecs = pcm,aif first in <codecs> parameter + new special mp3 ==> pcm rule set) LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
