The plugin is not really a plugin. All it does is create a directory with a custom-type.conf and custom-convert.conf files to run ffmpeg when a URL with MIME type "application/vnd.apple.mpegurl" or "application/x-mpegurl". The trouble is that LMS seems to ignore the MIME if there is a suffix which is m3u8.
