This is really a question for the Max2play team - probably @flysurfer. The Max2play image for Odroids is based on Ubuntu 15.04 and as I'm sure you are aware, that is no longer supported so there will be no further updates provided. This is obviously a security concern even if the underlying functionality of Ubuntu still provides what is required to run Max2 play itself.
I've made several attempts to carry out an upgrade from Ubuntu 15.04 to 15.10 as described on the Odroid website but have so far it hasn't worked - there are major problems which render Max2play (and Ubuntu itself) unusable. That either means leaving Ubuntu 15.04 in place and accepting the security risks or waiting for a newer image from Max2play based on Ubuntu 15.10. Not a good idea to accept those security risks I would suggest! As I understand it, each new version of Ubuntu only has a 'shelf life' (i.e. support life) of about 9 months so this will be a regular occurrence. Odroid has a base Ubuntu 15.10 image available which I haven't tried but I would then need to install Max2play manually. Has anyone tried to do this and if so how?
