If it's only about changing the informations being displayed, have a look at Erlands Custom Clock. With it you can at least change the Now Playing-Screen. That would be point #3. Today the user @Quadronado was looking for such a solution and is now working on such a Custom Clock-Skin. Maybe you build a team?
