Thanks for further reply and the information tcutting. Upon looking
again, and more closely, at Custom Clock (CC), it does look like it may
do what I want, and, yet another great admission, I was being dim - of
course the 'now playing' screen is what I see when a track is selected
(I'll just go and drown myself now - my excuse is too many players both
portable and computer based). I am very grateful for the pointer to the
fact that CC does not need to display a clock

I was aware that CC is not used for navigating and I am a user of
Erland's Custom Browse for that, along with the Custom Scan and
Multi-Library plugins as well, but I couldn't see when I was scanning
the documentation if CC can detect which library I am looking at, as the
Custom Browse menus can. That would be necessary to avoid some really
silly stuff appearing for non-classical music (Orchestra & Conductor for
starters).

I have now just checked my licence info on Erland's site, and as I paid
for the complete package (lifetime) I do have a licence for CC, so I
will experiment further - I do need to check out the Library support
though.

Thanks again for the help.
