This works for spotify only, but better then nothing.
When I saw this for the first time I thought this might be cool indeed.
Never looked into it in detail, though. But as this is basically a great
way to create playlists, which eventually would be imported into your
Spotify account, why wouldn't you just use it the way it is now? How
would you like to integrate it with LMS?
And yes, it's Spotify only. No SmartMix replacement.
It's not clear to me what APIs it is using in the background. Paul
Lamere (who created it) is one of the heads behind the.echonest.com, and
he's done a lot of great stuff using TEN. But as the TEN API is going to
be shut down, I don't know how many of them will continue to work.
Smarter Playlists is a more recent of his creations. It's possible it
will continue to work.
