Long shot here, but because of other problems with Perl modules on DSM4,
I copied the PropertyConfigurator.pm back to the Cpan dir. I couldn't
think of anything else besides the utf8 changes in the Synology.pm.
could this conflict with the fix in SQL?

This utf8 reference in not inside Synology package, but is in mine.
But the problem might not even be related to LMS, but to the latest
update of DSM6. Both reports come from Intel based nas devices.
